Was listening to Cosford Airshow radio today and the red arrows are only doing displays with 7 aircraft??? quite a shock considering their diamond 9 is there signature. Anyways, how many of yoonz have the facebookz so I know who to look out for? Apart from Griffin I know he'll be at the local porn store.

This is due to the deaths of 2 pilots from the team last year and the decision of another one to step down early from the team as a result.

Yes I am aware of the 2 deaths, it was just abit of a shock as I imagine they would have had to re-write most of their display.

From the proud plume of the Falcon straight to the deep sh...t of the Turkeys ,as you can understand Im back safe and sound.
A very special experience for me meeting you guys face to face and enjoyed my first air show ever, very much. Yes Griffin: any amount of rain and all the mud too, anyday! instead of the devils furnace
back here.
Special thanks to Crowebar for taking me "under his wing" fetching and bringing accomodating and before I forget, so glad that you remembered to bring enough beer for me, mate!
Cant wait for the pics guys!
Of course this is also for the Gals of the 185th: the two lovely ladies whom I had the honour of meeting, Kirsten and Kersy (spelling?) who braved the weather: rain bog and all in order to be with their men and us strangers and in doing so added their special touch to the event. Also to the 185th gals whom we did not meet this time but cut our leashes and allowed us out and braved spending a weekend alone and even to the 185th wives who were just plain happy to get us out of there sight for a long weekend. To all of you, the squad would not be the same without your support. |
