Time to hit some of the massing ground troops noted by Wildcat on his way home in the last mission (see recce shot below). A large number of armoured battalions are gathered on the other side of FLOT and are ripe for the picking. Known threat is ground fire from the aforementioned enemy troops. Air threats may come from FA/18 and EF2000 Eurofighters that played havoc with the escort flight last time out.

The above image relates to the steerpoint lines in the 2D map below.

Flight Plans

Falcon and Fury shall take off from Nowhere (Yechon) AB and the Lobo from Chongju.

Package 17359
Falcon 1 is a four ship strike flight. Targets in the right box in the image above are your targets. MS is four targets destroyed per aircraft, PS is two targets destroyed per aircraft.

Fury 1 is the four ship escort and Package Commander, tasked to protect the strike flights.
IDA will be from this flight.
MS no AA losses to the strike flights, PS one loss to the strike flight.

Lobo 1 is a four ship strike flight. Targets in the left box in the image above are your targets. MS is four targets destroyed per aircraft, PS is two targets destroyed per aircraft.

Time on Target
TOT for Falcon 1 is 05:16hrs at FL220. IDM 1, VHF 1, tacan 11/74
TOT for Fury 1 is 05:13hrs at FL280. IDM 2, VHF 2, tacan 16/79
TOT for Lobo 1 is 05:18hrs at FL220. IDM 3, VHF 3, tacan 21/84

Flight path is fixed for mutual support.

The weather is still on the change and is expected to remain poor for the next few hours. Choose your weapons accordingly.

Good Hunting

Flight Role: ESCORT = MS
Fury11: "Poppy" AA=2 AG=0 RTB
Fury12: "Vosene" AA=3 AG=0 RTB
Fury13: "Zipgun" AA=0 AG=0 RTB
Fury14: "Wildcat" AA=0 AG=0 RTB

Ingress and established CAP as fragged: 1st element W-E with 2nd element N-S.
Picture clear on CAP.
Encoutered 2 groups, each 2-3 ship escort and strike pop up. 2nd element turned cold (5sec to hound dog, sorry, wrong HSD read)
2nd element gate to engage (WEZ in depth). #2 engaged the escort, #1 engaged trailer group: Grand slam.

Back on the CAP until the RTB call was given and egress was as fragged + picture clear.
I managed to have the flight overshoot the airbase so we had to come around for a straight in approach. Which was it's own challenge with a 20kts crosswind. All RTB+Tanks.

Flight Role: Strike; PS
Falcon11: "Floyd" AA=2 AG=8 RTB
Falcon12: "Griffin" AA=0 AG=1 RTB
Falcon13: "Veiland" AA=1 AG=0 RTB

Uneventful ingress, but problems to locate targets due to bad weather.
When the second Strike flight asked for delouse, we've turned and later
found three SU-25 coming in from NW. We've engaged and shot them down.

Landing was challenging due to strong crosswinds.

Flight Role: Strike; PS
Lobo11: Sabre AA=0 AG=6 RTB
Lobo12: Mango AA=0 AG=0 RTB
Lobo13: Fisty AA=0 AG=3 RTB

We elected to take Mavericks, Uneventfull ingress to target, engage ground contacts, until pushed off by incoming enemy fighters. Fisty evaded several missiles whilst egressing. Then we resumed to target after enemy fighters were dealt with by escort. Prosecuted target until out of mavericks and rtb with out further incident.

Great video Wildcat,
I felt for you at the end looking for an open HAS.

Can I get a copy of this for the Flightsim show?

I didn't notice it was closed until I was parked outside of it

Sure, here's a link to the video - http://stephenhoultphotography.co.uk/11thSeptember2016-185thTheatreMission14.zip - can you let me know once you've downloaded it so I can remove it to save some space?
