Flight Role: SEAD
Callsign11: "Poppy" AA=0 AG=3 RTB (ran into a tank after touchdown but RTB per debrief by Griffin)
Also package command
Callsign12: "Utopic" AA=0 AG=1 RTB
Callsign13: "Sharpe" AA=0 AG=1 RTB
Callsign14: "Zipgun" AA=0 AG=4 RTB

Mission Outcome: MS!

Package took off together from Eilat. Ingress uneventful. As fragged proceeded to push point, checked the flights for status, did 1 hold rotation. Then we split into 4 single ships and proceeded to hit 4 sites simultaneously. Element had to extend one time, but with excellent cover from the escort flights we had good playtime (whoch we kept to a minimum).
Good mission outcome, some units where in buildings, some possibly submerged (not sure). So we had more smoke columns than hits in debrief but that's the way it is sometimes.

Egress back in formation fighting wing, battle break over 5right on home plate. Poppy crashed into a tank which came from the right. All others RTB and MS.

Flight Role: ESCORT
Thunder11: "Veiland" AA=0 AG=0 RTB
Thunder12: "Flyingstone" AA=0 AG=0 RTB
Thunder13: "Griffin" AA=1 AG=0 RTB
Thunder14: "Floyd" AA=1 AG=0 RTB

Mission Outcome: MS

Raced ahead of the SEAD flight and established CAP, immediately picked up 2 MIG23 which #1 and #2 engaged but both broke lock and we had to turn cold. The migs where then shot down by #3 and #4. CAP uneventful thereon. We had some contacts (Mostly MIG21) but nothing got close enough to engage.
Once Package Commander called Millertime we RTB'ed.

Have we finally broken the back of the enemies Air Defence? Sounds like there wasn't a lot of enemy aircraft around for this flight.

Misson Success
Vulture11: "SABRE" AA=0 AG=0 RTB
Vulture12: "MANGO" AA=0 AG=0 RTB

Took off, got into perch position above strike, held at agreed point before SA6 area.
Dropped into trail end Charlie to follow Strike and Escort home.

Very uneventful mission with the only highlight of two low flying helicopters.
