Strikes against Alismaylia continue on the western border of Sinai to make way for the IDF invasion of Egypt. Simultaneously, under the cover of early evening, Egypt has gathered ground forces 50 miles to the west of Beer-Sheba. They must not be allowed to re-take El Arish Air Base nor enter Israel.

The 185th is tasked with interdicting Egyptian forces near El Arish and destroying elements of the three armoured battalions, one motor rifle battalion, and two airborne battalions present.

Three flights of F-16s are scheduled to depart in the early evening. It is advised that one flight provides overwatch while the others commit to ground attacks. Although no air resistance is expected, sensible caution is advised.

Fig. 1 - Flight Plan for Package.

The image below shows the AO for the package, with all provisional flights superimposed. Flight leads can alter these paths in line with package priorities and responsibilities.
