PS
I had six Maveric Ds and Noodle had three along with a couple of CBU-87s.
Boresighting was not possible en route to the target. In addition low cloud at 5000 feet made locking the targets with the Mav's very difficult. I had a couple of dry passes and had to run top the Patriot protected safe lane a couple of times. I tried to go in low and avoid the cloud but I ended up in the chute after an SA-9 shot me down.
Noodle on the other hand had gaps to work on, plus the CBU's, spaced 900 feet apart caused considerable damage.
He RTB'd safely.
At night and cloudy CBU's are the better option when visibility hampers targetting.
