NATO forces have been pushing forward to several key objectives overnight. It is time to clear a path to the key city of Pec.

Package 858 has two objectives.

Mudhen5 will attrit forces defending Pec around STPT6.
Cobra2 will protect the flank of advance friendly forces by attacking targets of opportunity around STPT5.

Friendly forces have been instructed to capture and hold at the town of Decani, just south of STPT6.

Package 858
Mudhen 5 - 4 x F-16C-50 tasked for AI
Cobra 2 - 4 x F-16C-50 tasked for AI

Expected ground threats:
STPT5: SA9, SA14, SA6 with Flat Face but no Straight Flush
STPT6: SA9, SA14, Full strength AAA battalion
Expected air threats:
MiG-21

Weather forecast is fair for the target area with some clouds down to 6,000 feet, and sunny at homebase for landing.

MS: 20 AG kills, no losses.
PS: 20 AG kills, max one loss to enemy action.

Flight Role: AI

Mudhen 51 "Griffin": AA=0 AG=28 RTB
Mudhen 52 "Gekko": AA=0 AG=18 RTB
Mudhen 53 "Pegasus": AA=0 AG=5 RTB
Mudhen 54 "Vosene": AA=0 AG=3 RTB

MS

A fairly simple mission as far as threats from enemy air were concerned as there wasn't any.

Forty miles from target we went into trail for the attack. I took out the AAA battalion with JSOWs and the remainder of the flight had laser JDAMs (GBU-54) to attack their targets. This was thwarted by a 13,000 foot cloud layer. 3 and 4 went below this and completed their attacks.

We set up a AA CAP while Cobra finished then we returned home.
