Intel from previous flights reports that Kukes air base in Albania is under threat from invading forces and immediate action is required.
Package 849 has been tasked with attrition of enemy ground forces, in particular the 1st Mechanised Battailion that is getting close to the air base. There are other targets in the kill box indicated below and the opportunity to weaken these forces should be taken if possible.

There are SAM threats in the area, notably an SA-5 with it's Barlock B intact as well as SA-3 (minus Low Blow) and 6's.
Air threats are expected to be minimal.
Weather is not good with cloud base over the target expected to be 3000 feet MSL.
Expect increased head winds on return to Brindisi.
MS - Minimum of 50 kills across the package. PS - Minimum of 30 kills across the package. No losses to the package will be accepted and any will result in a mission failure.
Ingressed ahead of AI. Air picture was quiet although there were 2x MiG-21 close by and shot down by a Patriot.
#2 and #3 were each tasked with engaging SA-3 sites with 2x JSOW-A each. All hit and launchers destroyed. #1 engaged last known SA-6 location with 2x JSOW, hitting mostly Infantry Bns.
#2 and #3 went onto CAP while #1 search for the SA-6 threat but nothing came up. Cleared Weasel7 into target and #1 engaged and destroyed an SA-6 search radar Flat Face with a HARM.
#1 replaced #2 in CAP and #2 engaged a AAA Fire Can with AGM-88 but the shot was too close and missed. #2 came back on CAP with #1 and #3 was cleared to engage AD. He fired a HARM and destroyed an SA-5 Bar Lock.
Weasel7 were now calling Miller Time so Jaguar flight followed them back before descending through the weather over the Adriatic and flying a trail visual approach onto R31 back at Brindisi.
