This flight was fairly easy compared to previous missions as the enemy air appears to have been quelled in this area of the conflict.

Unhampered by air threats and having Plasma 2 clearing the SAMs in front of us the way was clear for attacking the primary targets.

No.2 had LGBs to locate and destroy the SA-19s in the columns, which he completed.

Nos 1 & 3 went in with MK20s, aiming to release all six in one pass with 200 foot spacing. Both of our first passes came off dry with failed releases on CCRP. Was this because we were too high at FL200+?

We came around again and at between FL160 and 180 we dropped the bombs. Mine fell to the north but No3 had five successful kills with a number damaged.

We joined the CAP with Plasma 2 until No2 had finished his attacks.

We returned to base with an overhead break.

SEAD Escort

Plasma21 “Vosene” AA=0 AG=5 RTB
Plasma22 “Fisty” AA=0 AG=7 RTB

Got into target area, engaged SA-17 site as planned destroying all but 1 unit in the Bn. Stayed on CAP but area quiet. Engaged 2x Snowdrift radars with HARM destroying both. This will enable us to get after the SA-17 launchers on these units next time as they will be forced to turn on FCRs with the search radars destroyed.
