Setup CAP North of Grumble2 AI engagement area. Engage any hostile within 40nm hot. Loadout was 6x AIM-120C.
Execution
Waiting for take-off and airport came under attack from Su-25. Scramble launch and threats were engaged by other flights.
Proceeding North to CAP area and picked up 2-ship Su-25 bandit group hot. Engaged as may have been planning to hit airfield. #1 fired at Lead bandit, #2 at trail. Lead defeated shot but missile acquired trail and splashed it. #2’s shot also hit trail. #2 then fired a single Slammer and splashed it.
Stayed on CAP monitoring targets. Grumble 11 and 12 shot down down SA-9. Grumble 13 completed ground attack and joined CAP.
Another 2-ship of Su-25 approached, #1 fired a Slammer but shot was defeated. Bandits destroyed by AI aircraft.
Just before RTB GCI identified contacts inbound from the North. Flight pushed North as #3 had to RTB due to low fuel. Identified as Su-24 Fencers. #1 and #2 engaged, #1 missile defeated, #2 splashed his bandit. #1 fired a further 3 Slammers to finally defeated his bandit.
Plan: Strike a concentration of ground moving targets around the FLOT with MK-20. 2 strikers and 1 aircraft monitoring SAM launches.
Execution: 1 and 2 got shot down by SA-9 at the very beginning of the engagement for being too low. 3 continued and managed to drop his bombs after a few dry passes building up SA and remaining at safe altitude. Gamble23 then rejoined on Hawkeye2 flight on CAP.
