Our last attempt to get deep into enemy territory when we wanted to OCA the northern airbase went seriously FUBAR.
Apart from losing AWACs to enemy air assets, the static SAM threats were complimented by mobile ones, so we didn't get too far.
Command have therefore fragged a dedicated SAM killing flight of four to clear the enemy defences before thinking about committing more strike aircraft to OCA action.
The four ship will take off in the evening and search out known and suspected SAM sites and clear them.
Results Flight Leads in this Sunday's official mission, "Here We Go - Part 5" are requested to post a debrief of their flight's actions, including any lessons learned or that should be learned by others.
Please put the following information at the top of your post:
Flight Role: (SEAD, ESCORT, STRIKE, Etc..) Callsign11: "Pilot's name" AA=X AG=X RTB,MIA/KIA,EJT Callsign12: "Pilot's name" AA=X AG=X RTB,MIA/KIA,EJT Callsign13: "Pilot's name" AA=X AG=X RTB,MIA/KIA,EJT Callsign14: "Pilot's name" AA=X AG=X RTB,MIA/KIA,EJT
MS/PS/MF
The air threat level is expected to remain high so be alert.
MS is for the two SA-2 and the SA-10 to be neutralised and also the SA-6 that scuppered last week's mission be found and similarly neutralised.
PS is for the SA-2s and the SA-6 to be neutralised.
Good luck
