Evening Chaps, I have delayed posting the results until I have reviewed the tape. The tape tells me that Sabre was shot down by a friendly Rafale C Gabo 23.
In my hand written notes, I see Flyingstone recorded a PS for the Escort but no friendly aircraft were shot down by enemy fighters according to my analysis of the tape.
Flyingstone, can you advise.
Thanks

Well, we took off, we flew to our Push point and awaited call-forward. Once in hot, we were called off by ESC due to Mig29s in hot from the north, but we were 10 secs from pickle so released, then egressed at gate, trailing a few SA4s/11s that overshot and fell short respectively. Uneventful egress for a straight in approach. Mission success. |

Uneventful ingress, loitered for a short time until picture clear from air threats, engaged some pop up SA10's then egressed. On the way off target, Sabre was hit by a missile from a friendly Rafale C. Scruffy returned home safely.
