Flight leads in this Sunday's official campaign mission, "Battle for Sinai 3" are requested to post a debrief of their flights actions, including any lessons learned or that should be learned by others.
Please put the following information at the top of your post:

Mission Outcome: MS
Took off and formed in flight, and flew towards the holding point rather slow, because of the extra fuel and the loadout. On the way in, we got spiked by 23s and went cold, while Snake2 went in to clear the area. When they called the area clear, we went back, with one element taking out one SA2 and one SA6, while the other took 2 SA6s.
Went back to the holding point, and RTBed.
Very nice support from Poppy, with splash calls on the ground targets, good support and good comms overall. |

The ingress was uneventful, but getting close to the CAP area we had
Shark flight spiked by 23s, with the southern Escort 40 miles away.
I asked the Shark to come north east to drag the bandits towards us.
#1 and #4 killed the MiGs, the area kept clear till Shark finished
their engagment and all RTB'd.

Delayed takeoff due to intermingling with AI on taxiway.
Got to patrol area but very quiet with no enemy air activity from the South West.
Waited for sead to complete task and clear area.
Proceeded home no further activity.
