Mission Outcome: MS
The flight took off with 4 JSOWs and 2 tanks each to have
enough gas to make the TOT. About 40 miles to the target we
encountered 2 MiG-29S and lost #1 and #3 in the engagement.
Already close enough to the target we could launch the AGMs
and set the area aflame.
The flight back to base was uneventful.

We had 2 restarts on the mission due to Dmans1 aircraft exploding when he joined. So on 3rd restart Dmans joined us once #3 flown by AI was airborne.
Ingress was largely uneventfull, though requiring concentration for low level. We were painted by SA-6 twice but not engaged. At one point we flew almost overhead an SA-6 battalion on the move but luckely also not engaged.
Reached the target area while JSTOW missiles still inbound so flew one circuit before proceeding. The whole airfield had erupted into a mass of flame and thick black smoke making it next to impossible to see the runway. I had set my ADI to the runway heading on ingress so was able to line up on instruments, with the rest of the flight following. However my first pass was dry as I couldn’t see the runway beneath me to aim at. Dmans1 was also dry with Oly being the only one to release bombs on the first pass. 2nd run both Dmans and I released our weapons as a lot more of the runway was visible.
RTB’d with no further incident.

Flight took off from Kimpo Airbase and climbed to initial altitude,Angels 10 to SP4. At SP4 we went into the weeds due to heavy AAA in the area and followed the valley until we reach Wonsan Airbase (Tgt SP). On reaching Wonsan airbase the target area was obscured by smoke due to an earlier strike. A recce flight over tgt area was required to gain bearings and confirm runway heading. Unfortunately Falcon11 hit runway 15 (Wrong Runway). Falcon13 hit runway 19 (Correct Runway).
Falcon flight formed up at SP15 and returned to base which was an uneventful experience.
