Top marks this week go once again to 1.5 Pie who flew both sorties this week as a 3 ship (due to work commitments) and managed 2 successful SEAD strikes, combining the second with a successful Strike on Panghyong Airfield to earn the maximum bonus available by shutting down the SU27 home base. Awesome flying with the loss of only 1 F16, and that was due to pilot error rather than enemy fire.

Iron Hand took second place this week with 2 successful SEAD sorties to increase their chances on the final mission for the loss of 2 F16s. Working hard to make up for loss ground, they also submitted a respectable score for Phase 3, losing only 2 F16s setting them up for a challenging final sortie. Well done.

Iron Eagles did not have lady luck shining upon them, all 4 jets were eliminated on the 1st sortie, with a further 3 (including 2 unfortunate incidents of spontaneous combustion) losses on the 2nd trip, making a week to forget. Very bad luck indeed.

Euroteam results are still awaited at time of writing.

Phase 4 Results:-

1.5 PIE 136 1 F16 loss
Iron Hand 111 2 F16 losses
Iron Eagles 77 7 F16 losses
Euroteam (results awaited)

Overall standings after 8 hours:-

1.5 PIE 589 5 F16 lost
Iron Eagles 471 12 F16s lost
Euroteam 316 5 F16s lost (phase 4 results not included)
Iron Hand 312 10 F16s lost

Very well flown to everyone, good luck on the final deep strike mission to be flown next week.

Its good to see that our efforts have finally managed to pay off.
This campaign has been both fun and frustrating - mainly due to tech problems, than one of flying.

Lets see if Team Iron Hand can continue to do well in the final phase.

Well done to all - esp. PJ - Top campaign mate
