Our squadron was formed 3rd July 1999. To mark the 5th anniversary we propose to invite all members, both past and present to meet up here at our squadron website Chatroom at 19.00 hrs GMT on Sunday 4th July 2004. Our Guest of honour will be no less than Tom "Maddog MCQ" McQuiggan, the founding member of the squadron who has kindly agreed to join us to chat about old times.

We look forward to seeing as many of you online as possible, this will be a great opportunity to meet up with old comrades and reflect on 5 successful years of online flying. Our teamspeak server will also be available on the night for voice chat, details available upon request.

If you are unable to attend but would like to contribute a message of good will, please post them in the Flight Chit Chat section of the website, we would love to hear from as many former members as possible.

From Trivella AMVI VFS

Lots of things happened in the last 5 years and we have seen so many changing in our world.
And for all of us we seen so many simulator raise and fall quickly.
Pc are faster and increase opportunity.
But passion and love for Falcon is still alive in us and it happened specially by virtue of Group like 185th.
You're doing a good job,really.
Wish to all this community the best

Sincerely

AMVI (Aeronautica militare virtuale italiana)

Hi Tracer,

Thank you for the invite. I was away the weekend and only just got home now, so sorry to miss the 'reunion'!

I was one of the 'originals' at the inaugural meeting called by Maddog, and I still even now pop in to the website from time to time to check out what is going on and see whats what.

Regrettably i do not fly at the moment as I have turned to other interests but i have very fond memories of my flight nights, and the just for fun dogfights with Bounty, Sparrow and all. My Thrustmaster FLCS and TQS are gathering dust on the shelf; maybe they will get used agian one day; who knows?!

Please pass on my greetings and say hello to anyone who remembers
'Skylark' and I offer my best wishes for your continued success.

Kind Regards

Mark 'Skylark' Williams
