With results now in, the standings are as follows:-
1st 1.5 PIE 325 Points
2nd Blues 322 points
3rd BGees 252 points
A brutal mission this week saw the teams take on a preplanned CAS tasking against a SCUD battalion with very mixed results indeed. In what was arguably the toughest assignment so far , 2 teams returned a failure (Blues and 1.5 PIE) leaving the BGees as the only team to actually hit the SCUD battalion destroying 4 launchers therefore earning a partial success. BGees in fact turned in a very creditable 14 AG kills but none of their pilots made it home to tell the tale so this had an adverse effect on their rating. 1.5 PIE flew a man short this week, the AI 4th man somehow making it home while the rest of the team had to bail out. Blues returned 2 pilots home, thus gaining ground on the other teams and narrowing the gap to 3 points at the top of the board.
In what was the lowest scoring mission of the series so far, team scores were Blues 29 points, BGees 9 Points, 1.5 PIE 8 points.
The competition is hotting up , its looking like going right down to the final mission to decide the winner. Good luck to you all.
