Our Situational Awareness series kicks off with a review of the 3 critical avionic systems you need in order to maintain a basic standard of SA, the air-to-air radar, RWR and HSD.
During the lesson we will enter the cockpit and review the functions of the HSD and RWR before taking off and reviewing the various A2A radar modes, including their various functions and advantages and disadvantages.
The lesson is ideal anyone who want to find out in more detail how these systems operate and even for the more experienced members of the Sqn as a refresher prior to diving into the more complex Situational Awareness lessons.
The lesson will start at 1930UK on Wednesday 05 September.
