 With deep sadness we write to inform you that Kevin 'Retro' Thurlow, Red Flight Lead, lost his battle with ill health and passed away peacefully today.
We are sure that all members, past and present of Red Flight and of the 185th, join us in their prayers for Kevins family.

He was a true Gentleman. His quiet common sense words ensured that Red flight always flew in formation.
I believe he will continue to fly with us in our hearts and minds.
My condolences to his family.

I never really got to know Retro from being posted to Blue Flight, but it is always a shock to loose people you get to know. My condolences to his family and friends, may he rest in peace.

Rest in peace Kevin.
Let us not mourn the passing of our friend, his suffering is at an end.
Instead let us celebrate his life and the positive contributions he has made to our Squadron and his family, co workers and friends.
IMHO I believe he would want us to remember the good times and the things that we enjoyed together.

A very sad loss to all. Despite his ill health, he cared deeply for the 185th and his Red Flight. His are big shoes to fill.
