30th January 1991, Ras Safaniya Airbase, 0425 local.
Mudhen3 - ESCORT 4x F-16C-40
Panther4 - DEAD 4x F-16C-40
Objective: revenge is a dish best served cold. It’s time to destroy the SA-6 that shot down one of our own last mission. Intel have identified the SA-6 at Tallil Depot (primary target) and Tallis Ali Airbase Runway and SA-16 (secondary target). This SA-16 also shot down two of our aircraft on a previous mission.
Mission success is for the Runway, SA-16 that is part of the 70th AD Bn and the SA-6 FCR to be destroyed and no losses from radar guided missiles, with partial success if only the SA-8 FCR is destroyed.
Weather is clear.
Results
Flight Leads in this Sunday's official mission, "Hold The Line 13" are requested to post a debrief of their flight's actions, including any lessons learned or that should be learned by others.

Uneventful mission for the Escort. Got onto CAP and several groups identified as helo, no factor.
Got the call from Strike that they were RTB and followed them back with an Overhead a break onto R14.
MF due to overall mission success criteria not being met.
