Tonight we shall fly a mission on the Veteran Gamers server. It is fully patched up to 4.34.2 now.

Please ensure that you have adjusted your falconbms.cfg file to set the time before take off to 6 instead of 4 minutes and to remove the AAA shots from the debrief info.

See you later.

Warhawk 2 - OCA

Warhawk 21 - "Griffin" AA 3 AG 2, RTB
Warhawk 22 - "Noodle" AA 1 AG 6, RTB
Warhawk 23 - "Mango" AA 1 AG 0, RTB

Our mission was to attack Taetan. 1 was laoded with Rockeyes, 2 with AGM-65D and 3 with GBU-31.

3 attack first while 1 and 2 engaged a couple of MiG 21s that were landing at Taetan and another tow who were approaching from the east.

Meanwhile 3 dropped the GBU's but they did not track to target and fell miles short.

Back to the MiGs. 1 killed one of the pair then turned to assist 2 who had dispatched one MiG 21 and was being followed by a second. The ACMI showed that he had actually engaged one target and two more took off from a nearby base. 1 came in and dispatched both bandits.

2 and 3 went air-to-air and 3 dropped rockeyes (6 of them) on air defences along the runway. There were lots of fires but the acmi confirmed only three kills.

2 asked for the location of the air defences. 1 thought there were more on the runway after experiencing ground fire, but that had been destroyed. 2 could not find targets so was given clearance to engage port air defences. His AGM-65Ds only damaged a couple of targets but weirdly when he went in with guns he killed six lightly armoured vehicles! The F-16 must have nicked a gun from an A-10!

After that we returned safely to base.

A fun mission with events happening around us to keep us on our toes.
