Allied forces are performing offensive A-A operations over Rytinki, while ground forces are also executing a major offensive at Rytinki.

Active enemy airbases:

* KAJAANI 65% (24 Su27s)
* KUUSAMO 80% (11 Su37)
* PYHASALMI 100% (6 Mig29S)
* RAAHE-PATTIJOKI 0% (23 Su27s)
* SODANKYLA 100% (11 Mi26s)
* VUOJARVI HIGHWAY STRIP 0%
* YLIVIESKA 0% (29 Su27s)

Since the last OCA mission was a success but the enemy still has active airbases, the mission can be long-range OCA with a SWEEP/ESCORT or Interdiction N of the gulf of Bothnia.

For OCA flights, we need to go deeper into enemy territory. I've added threat circles for the southern airbases so we can see where we need to hold for weapon impact.

We've got intel that the YLIVIESKA runway might become operational soon, and should be considered as a high priority target.

Because the available pilot numbers are fluid, the mission will be setup on site.
Please be present on time, with the gear setup.

Departure and ingress as fragged, loose formation due to nighttime flying. Pressed early (rolex +2) on primary and secondary targets which were sorted by elements. First element had
a damaged and a section destroyed (partial succes) and second element had 100% destroyed. Good job guys!
Egress was clean and clear, Escort kept close and us safe even when we had to loiter double the amount of time we briefed.
Recovery was an intercept downwind but the SOP states straight in long finals during nighttime which we didn't do so that was correct feedback.
All jets back servicable and target destroyed. Mission Patrial succes (I think) due to first element low % of weapons hit rate.

MS

A bit of a Milkrun for us. We used a RAT departure to keep SA. Once we reached our CAP we started at 5nm spearation but after the first rotation we extended this to 10nm. Kept the CAP going for Cowboy to drop their Greyhounds, we did have one instance of a bogey breaching our 40nm engagement zone, but that was probably because we'd strayed a little too far to the East. But we returned back to the CAP and the bogeys continued their patrol, no factor on us. After Miller time was called, we egressed after Cowboy, again using RAT. Recovery was a midfield intercept of the downwind. Acknowledge this went against 185th SOP, so lesson learnt for me as a Lead. All RTB and no losses so MS for us.

The 4 things a wingman is allowed to say:

1.Two
2.Lead, you're on fire.
3.I'm bingo fuel.
4.I'll take the fat one.... :/

Early would be ROLEX-2.

I heard you call ROLEX +2 during the mission, which would 2 minutes later on target than briefed.

Roger; we we're two minutes behind schedule so we cut the corner to go direct to the target to compensate for the time. We we're late basically. Reading back I see that I didn't state that clearly but it was a rolex +2 (late) call. Since we needed time over target (7 minutes minimum) for weapons deployment I did not want to delay and keep the escort in the AO any more than was needed for us to strike.
