Operation SOLID TRUSS Mission 40 Sunday 18th October 2026
[CLASSIFIED: SECRET (185th VFS Eyes Only)
Campaign Objectives:
1. Stop the Egyptian Armoured Advance through the Sinai - Complete
2. Achieve Air Superiority ?
3. Hold ALL Israeli Airbases - Complete
4. Prevent a second armoured advance Complete
SITUATION:
Following successful Air Interdiction flights against Egyptian ground units east of Suez, a corridor has now been opened for Israeli ground troops to advance towards the towns of Ismailiah and Suez. Occupation of these towns will no doubt force the Egyptian Government to reconsider their foolish invasion into Israeli territory.
To assist with this advance and to enable future deep strikes into Egyptian territory, the 185th and 186th VFS is tasked with the reduction of key air defence sites and airbases. Recent intel and observations during our last mission identified Gebeil El Seikh airbase being used to launch enemy F16 aircraft that have hampered our progress. This airbase will be destroyed.
The airbase is protected by a nearby SA16 SAM system and sits within the protective umbrella of a Patriot Missile system further to the west. To enable the strike to take place, these systems must be destroyed or suppressed.
Scheme of manoeuvre:
This must be a coordinated mission with CYBORG4 (F16I DEAD) engaging the 520th Air Defence Batn (Patriot) whilst MAKO7 (F16I DEAD) neutralises the 586th Air Defence Batn (SA-6). Following destruction of these defences, PLASMA2 (F16I OCA STR) are cleared to attack the airbase. MOWHAWK7 (F15C) will provide air cover for all flights.

SUPPORT
AWACs support is provided by an E3A Sentry (c/s SENTRY4), operating 60nm south of Nicosia and escorted by USAF F15C. This package is assigned in a support only role and will not engage in offensive operations against any forces in the region, other than in self-defence.

WEAPONS
Weapon choice at flight Lead discretion but DEAD flights are strongly advised to employ standoff weapons. To that end, c/s CYBORG4 are currently loaded with Rampage Missiles whilst MAKO7 is loaded with Delilah IR missiles. Flight Leads should note that both SAM systems are capable of self-defending against incoming missiles and adjust load-out/method of attack accordingly.

MAKO7 Destruction of Flat Face and Straight Flush No loss of aircraft to this system
PLASMA2 Destruction of ALL 4 runway sections (if 4-ship runway sections plus 4x HVT at airbase)
MOWHAWK - No loss of aircraft to enemy air activity
Partial Success:
CYBORG4 Destruction of minimum AN/MPQ-53 No loss of aircraft to this system
MAKO7 Destruction of Straight Flush No loss of aircraft to this system
PLASMA2 Destruction of minimum 1 runway section from each runway
MOWHAWK7 Max loss of 1 aircraft to enemy air activity
