YOU MUST INSTALL THE LATEST GIBRALTAR THEATRE TO FLY THIS MISSION. COME PREPARED.

Our successful strikes against the SA-10 battalion at Chlef, which has been completely destroyed, and the neutrlisation of both Chlef and Mostaganem air bases has given us clear skies over the FLOT.

Smaller SAM threats remain, such as SA-9, SA-8 and SA-22 (the latter now active in the updated theatre). The SA-22 will appear as "22" in your RWR.

For this flight we need to attack the remnants of SP Gun battalions, specifically the 6240th and 6237th, both of which are slowly moving towards the FLOT.

IMPORTANT NOTE
A friendly unit, the 272nd Armoured battalion, has got ahead of the rest of our forces and is at Tafaraoui AB to the south of your target. Mark it's position and avoid the area during your attack. Any fratricide on this unit shall result in a Mission Failure for the package.

The second flight, Mustang 3 is tasked with destroying the 6240th battalion with a secondary job to hit the 1234th CIV Task force in the Mediterranean Sea.

Our task was to attack ground forces as briefed, with Mustang3 tasked with the ships.

On approach we were spiked by SA-22 on the nose. We got '22' inner ring from 20nm. I had a launch warning just as I dropped my first LGB at moving targets, but could not evade the SA-22. I got lucky with the bomb hitting a truck.

The rest of the flight was not so lucky and we all had to ride our parachutes to the ground.

Notes on SA-22.
RWR inner ring at 20nm @ Angels22.
First launch on flight lead was at 8.5nm (could not evade)
Other launches at 14 and 15nm (could not evade)
