Our ground forces have continued their advance along the northern coast of Algeria. They are close to capturing (or defeating) an SA-8 battalion at our PPT67, which will be a boon to our efforts.

There are still SA-8 groups a little further into enemy territory. Our records from the last flights have updated their positions and these have been added to your data cartidges. The position of the FLOT is similarly updated.

Fig. 1 - Package Flight Plans

Your package is an AI flight with a leaning towards DEAD.

The package consists of two, 4 x F-16 AI flights with a 4 x F-15C DCA, which shall be on station for twenty minutes.

The first AI flight, Viper 6 is tasked primarily with destroying the SA-8 battalion at PPT64, with a secondary job to hit the SA-7s at Tafaraoui AB.

The other AI flight, Jaguar 3 is tasked with destroying the SA-8 battalion at PPT69, with a secondary task of hitting the SA-9 battalion at PPT57.

The DCA flight shall keep station to protect both the AI flights until they have completed their tasks. Note that the DCA (Devil 6) will take off seven minutes before Viper 6's allotted time.

Viper 6 (F-16C-52+CFT) - AI (DEAD)

Jaguar 3 (F-16C-52+CFT) - AI (DEAD)

Devil 6 (F-15C) - DCA

Mission Success Criteria

AI Flight
Mission Success shall be awarded for the successful hits on the allocated SA-8 battalions. A minimum average of four kills per aircraft per flight.

Partial Success shall be awarded as above but with only three kills per aircraft per flight.

Good hunting.
