SEAD against SA-10 at Tsutshima AN on Tsushima Island
SA-10 battalion located at Tsutshima AB successfully defeated our Harpoons during the last mission that was aimed against the Kuznetsov carrier group. The ships own defense did not seem to be very effective, so the Command Center decision is to try and eliminate the land based SA-10 battalion (at least the Flap Lid radar and perhaps the Big Bird too) first. If the attack is successful, the TASMO will have much better chance to sink the carrier and thus reduce red air activity to a minimum.
Enemy air activity is expected, therefore the SEAD flight will be escorted by F16s and/or F-15s.
