As part of the 605th from Osan, we took off form rwy 27L at 23:10hrs and regrouped before heading to the target (2nd Artillery Battalion HQ) at a cruise altitude of FL240. A top drawer section of the flight.
A five mile separation between elements was set up as briefed. the first element would attack first while the second element provided air cover until the first called off target. On review this should have been ten miles as the second element ended up too close.
The attacks from all four pilots went perfectly with each pilot hitting and destroying their allotted targets.
A very efficient regroup and cruise home to a good landing (even though Mango had to go around for a second shot).
