In one of our last missions in this theatre we are ordered to target
the last functional port, the Juniyah Naval base.

The first picture shows the route to our target and the second one
a recon photo of the naval base.

Main targets are:
- Storage tanks
- Warehouse
- Depot
- Fuel tanks
There is no hard deck for this mission, strafing of targets is allowed.

Mission success is given for no losses to Panther and Python by A2A,
PS is given for 50% loss max.

All flights are from the 4329th squadron, flying the F-16CM-52,

Flight Role: Deep Strike

Panther 11: "Griffin" AA=0 AG=2 RTB
Panther 12: "Mango" AA=0 AG=5 RTB
Panther 13: "Sabre" AA=0 AG=0 RTB

MS

Take off was uneventful but neither Mango nor I could see Sabre on IDM which didn't help SA.

We had a short hold half way to our target when Serpent took care of MiG 23 while we started an orbit. We didn't have to wait too long and continued in.

I had Mk82 Air, Mango and Mk84Air and Sabre had CBM-87. We were target fuel and storage tanks so it was going to interesting to see the various weapon effects.

We started our attack runs but were called off by Serpent as more MiGs were on the way in. After that we followed Python's first run. The target was a fire ball and it was difficult to find targets clearly. A pop-up SA-8 to the SE of the target added to the spice of the mission.

We had good results, particularly from secondary explosions. Mk82 and Mk84 bombs worked well, but the CBM-87 only inflicted damage, no destruction, even though Sabre hit the targets with every bomb.

A good fun flight.

Flight Role: Deep Strike

Python11: "Floyd" AA=0 AG=2 RTB
Python12: "Echion" AA=0 AG=3 RTB

MS

We had to slow down on the ingress while Serpent attacked the
bandits, but thereafter reached the target for a good first run.
A few runs had to be repeated because bombs won't release
or target area obstructed by smoke. With 4 bombs each we
had to take the centerline tank and had to RTB in time.
