In our efforts to improve our connectivity during official missions it has come to light that it is deemed essential that all clients have port forwarding setup correctly for MP sessions in BMS 4.33. To that end, can all pilots please double check and confirm that they have port forwarded 2934-2935 UDP for BMS 4.33 and 9987-9989 UDP for IVC.

Happy for people to confirm but the correct procedure is already covered in the SOP. http://www.185th.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=7369

BMS manual (page 81) states that only ports 2934-2935 UDP need to be opened.

Ports for IVC only need to be forwarded if you are hosting IVC but, for simplicity in case people forget when they are hosting, our SOP states these 3 IVC ports (9987-9989 UDP) should be forwarded by everyone.

Where did you get the information stating that for 4.33 2934-2937 UDP needs to be forwarded?

My apologies. With BMS 4.32 we forwarded ports 2934 - 2937. I assumed that the same would be true for BMS 4.33. As it states in the manual on page 81 that only ports 2934 - 2935 need to opened for this version, let's go with that.

Make sure the IP you forward to is static and not changed by the
DHCP server in your router. There is a guide:
