Flight Role: INTERDICTION
Avenger 3-1: Poppy AA=0 AG=4 RTB (PACKAGE COMMANDER)
Avenger 3-2: Homer AA=0 AG=0 RTB (damaged)
Avenger 3-3: Zipgun AA=0 AG=5 RTB
Avenger 3-4: Tank AA=0 AG=4 RTB (damaged on landing)

DEBRIEF:
element formation takeoff, box formation ingress over centre FLOT. AOO (Area Of Operation) has low cloud deck, and moutainous terrain. Difficulty sorting. 1 was off dry, and 2 had to break cloud deck and got clipped by incidental ground fire. proceeded to anchor point to clear the AOO for 3&4 which were in trail as element by 5-8 miles. 2 called tumbleweed, 1 aborted and escorted 2 to anchor after triage. 2 jettisoned and stayed CAP for a couple minutes. Handed flight lead to 3 while escorting 2.
3 & 4 were in hot in target, and after dakota took over escorting 2 to RTB.
1 took lead again. 1 found an alternate small column of movers south of primary AOO and once dakota joined 4 as a 'new' element. RTB and checked 'what state' on other flights. Used comms to ensure Cowboy was supported by Gypsy which were dakota at that time. Gypsy stayed CAP for Cowboy for a couple of minutes. No package RTB call needed, they were dakota soon enough and all egressed south RTB.
3 and 2 were now RTB and 1 joined on 4 for straight in approach on Kimpo 32 from holding point. Cross wind clipped 4's wings after touch down, 1 had to go around.

GOOD/BAD:
weather and sorting was difficult and 2 got ground fire. Hard deck o A14 was unsustainable and we had to drop low exposing us to ground fire. During escorting 2 to anchor 1 and 2 were both low and I kept dropping flares but that bit was dangerous. We made it though.

We changed roles during the flight and everyone stayed in communication throughout. Good SA and excellent formation flying by Tank. We maintained flexibility, we adapted and decided quick.

Flight Role: INTERDICTION

Cowboy 4-1: Floyd AA=0 AG=9 RTB (technical)
Cowboy 4-2: Griffin AA=0 AG=5 RTB
Cowboy 5-3: Crowebar AA=0 AG=3 RTB

Our target was the 1st Tank Battalion NE to Hoeyang and
their order was to defend Hyesan, a city 26 miles south.
The battalion was close to a city with routes going east
and west, so we spent most of our briefing time discussing
possible scenarios.

The battalion showed on radar at 25 miles out, having just
turned east. The data was transmitted to the flight, targets
sorted easily due to the angle of attack and thebattalion
destroyed to 19% with multiple passes.

Flight Role: Interdiction
Callsign11: "Sabre" AA=0 AG=X RTB
Callsign12: "Jack" AA=0 AG=3 RTB
Callsign13: "ironman" AA=0 AG=4 RTB
Callsign14: "Vosene" AA=0 AG=0 RTB

Mission Outcome: MS

Fairly uneventful sortie. Cloud cover was an issue over the target to the ALOW limits and the target had moved southwest.
Vosene's weapons inexplicably missed, but both Jack and Ironman were able to score hits.

All rtb'd.

p.s. For some reason, my debrief text file shows details for the other flights but not mine, have I missed a setting somewhere?
