Firstly I have to thanks everyone who has taken part in this for their participation and good humour when things went wrong.

I've really enjoyed running it as well as enjoying the shows that you guys have put on.

So, the most important bit is that we are at the half way point and I know that there's some bragging rites at stake here so here goes.

The current leader of the competition is Ironman, followed by Sharpe then Poppy. But don't get too comfortable 'cos that Fat Lady hasn't even warmed her throat up for singing just yet.

1st Ironman - 95pts
2nd Sharpe - 88pts
3rd Poppy - 86pts
4th Skal - 84pts
5th Flying Stone - 82pts
6th Veiland - 75pts
7th Elmo - 72pts
8th Crowebar - 71pts
9th Homer - 64pts
10th Zipgun - 44pts

Once again, many thanks to the competitors and for these chasing, don't give up. There are plenty of points up for grabs in the next two rounds.

In first flight I forgot to add tanks, barely hit the target and exploded on landing. Second flight went ok, hit the targets, but werent overly fast.
Makes me wonder if those below me in points ****ed off Griffin or something? Maybe crashed into him, or dropped bomds on him?

I damaged my aircraft from over speed on ingress on my first flight resulting in no bombs dropping and forgot to arm my weapons on the second mission resulting in a late release and bombs missing target so i'm sure quite a few points dropped for not destroying the targets.

Watch out, next round if I can just remember the basics of take off procedures you guys are in trouble.

I had to come round on the second target egress on home plate due to 210kts landing speed. didn't want to risk crashing. This did cost me points. And I should have gone for DTOS which would have saved me 50% on the round trip... But a LOT OF FUN! Great stuff.

in 2nd mission I Overlooked the first warehouse and as a result set the 2nd warehouse as my target and proceeded to bomb the **** out of it. Made it back with too much fuel to spare (2000 pounds) after climbing to Angel 34 on the way home, so I could have also been quicker on that one.

Dear Ironman
please crash on the next round
Sincerely FlyingStone

First mission executed perfectly, except the bombs skipped over the target, constituting a miss. I was also 10 secs slower than you guys. 2nd mission was perfect, but again approx 10 secs slower so I guess the time factor plays a big part here!
