Flight leads in this Sunday's official campaign mission, "Balkans Campaign 2" are requested to post a debrief of their flights actions by Tuesday, including any lessons learned or that should be learned by others.
Please put the following information at the top of your post:

Flight Role: Naval Strike (MS)
Snake11: Sharpe AA=0 AG=1 RTB
Snake12: Zipgun AA=1 AG=3 EJT
Snake13: Sabre AA=0 AG=0 RTB
Snake14: Ironman AA=0 AG=2 RTB
Took off as fragged, 1st element proceeded to target and engaged naval targets at STP4. In 10 mile trail the 2nd element went in about 5 minutes later and destroyed all there targets too.
Zipgun got caught in the furball near Stud 1, but was recalled when Stud 1 confirmed they were engaging it Zipgun returned to Snake 1. At RTB Zipgun got a Mig29 spike on his RWR and and turned to engage what turned out to be a SU-27 on our tail. Sadly it was a 1 for 1 trade as Zipgun killed his target as it killed him.
After that we all RTB'd. Ironman had a technical and CTD'd as he went home before everyone else. Sabre started to report technical issues for his flight controls on approach to Lecce.

SEAD Escort
Partial Success
Stud11: Vosene 3 AA 0 AG RTB
Stud 12: Floyd 1 AA 2 AG RTB
Stud13: Griffin 1 AA 2 AG RTB
Plan - Engage 38th Ship Patrol of 2x OSA II and 1x Nanuchka then push North to engage SA-5 before RTB.
Execution - No 3 had some technical issues on joining but managed to join on 2nd attempt. Ingress was uneventful.
As we approached 38th ship patrol we picked up 2x Su-27 to the North.
Flight engaged in Vic Formation. 1 engaged the lead with a single Slammer C shot from 23nm and turned cold, Su-27 was splashed. 3 also engaged but unfortunately shot at the same target so the missile was trashed.
1 cleared 2 & 3 onto 38th ship patrol while 1 pushed North and dragged remaining Su-27 and pushed towards a second pair of Su-27. 1 fired a second Slammer C splashing the Lead and evaded 2x R-77 and an R-73 but had to go Cat 1 in the process.
One of the Su-27 turned away to the North but the remaining Su-27 was on the six of 1. By this time 2 & 3 were off target having each killed an Osa II with 2x AGM-65D. 1 requested a delouse and the bandit was splashed with a single AiM-120C from 3.
The flight pushed North and were almost immediately engaged by a 2-ship of MiG-29A, still in Vic 1 turned cold without firing and 2 splashed one of the MiGs with a single Slammer C. Turning hot again 1 and 3 could see the remaining MiG-298 on RWR but not on radar, 1 picked it up at 10nm high and due to the close range fired 2x Slammer C, splashing the bandit.
Pushing North again there were Su-27 to the East and a two ship of Su-27 to the North but there was a small window to engage the SA-5. 2 fired a Shrike and achieved the kill.
3 pushed forward to fired a second shot at the SA-5 and was engaged by multiple SA-6 and other AD threat, he fired the Shrike at a target of opportunity and killed an SA-6. With Su-27 closing from the North and East, the Flight turned around and pushed for home after informing Snake1. Flight completed an overhead break onto R14 with everyone RTB.
Lessons
Snake12 became mixed up in our second engagement with no comms between Snake and Stud to coordinate this and could have led to a Blue-on-blue. Stud1 called this engagement on Tactical so Snake should have remained clear unless called in for delouse.
Better sorting and use of DL required to ensure flight engage separate targets.
