I think the data link and the debrief issues may have been caused by deleting the lead flight in the package, thus having a knock on effect on the rest of the package.

Role: SEAD Escort

Lobo11 "Floyd" AA=3 AG=2 RTB
Lobo12 "Veiland" AA=1 AG=2 RTB
Lobo13 "FlyingStone" AA=1 AG=0 RTB
Lobo14 "Griffin" AA=1 AG=2 RTB

The plan was to have #1 and #2 to attack the SAM sites close to target area
and #3 and #4 monitor an enemy airbase en route. Thereafter the elements should
change roles and fly CAP.

Actually two MiG-23 were preparing to take off and could be destroyed. Meanwhile
#1 and #2 gained altitude and destroyed the SA-3 and SA-2. Time to change roles
and, heading away from the target area, the flight ran into a 4-ship MiG-29S.
We've called the Escort for support and turned around, dropping empty tanks and
evading incoming missiles.

Coming around in a long turn to avoid MiG-21 (Escort engaged these), we had
to engage a single MiG-29 and two MiG-25 and shoot them down.

The egress was quiet afterwards and with fuel getting low, #3 was diverted for
emergency landing with the other planes in trail for a successful RTB.

As no one had a working debrief screen at mission end or a debrief file I had to review the ACMI.I some cases there were a couple of hits on a bandit in those cases Ive gone for 1st missile to hit/pilots ejecting gets the kill.

If anyone has any other scores for the Strike flight please correct

Role: Strike

Falcon11 Novac AA=2 AG=1 RTB
Falcon12 Vosene AA=1 AG=1 EJT
Falcon13 Jack AA=1 AG=1 RTB
Falcon14 Utopic AA=0 AG=1 RTB

MS

Our final plan after much discussion was to carry 4xGBU32 v1b and wing tanks with each pilot taking 1 ground target at the army base except Vosene who would hit 2 targets...........That was soon to change when Utopic dropped into #4 seat as his own jet had "blown up"????

Flight went low and radio silent at stp2 and tried to stay on time for our target at stp5. I think we all got a little separated during the LL flight.
Around 40 miles from target we heard Lobo flight calling attacks on the SA3 & 2 sites. No need for us to stay silent anymore so we pulled up to altitude and began the attack. We were a little ahead of time with the 1st bombs hitting around 06:03:40. Each aircraft destroying there individual targets on the 1st pass. But looking through the TGP some of the depots didn't look destroyed so we re-engaged.

Once off target all hell broke loose on the A2A side from my point of view. With no sorting of targets on my part. It was a "cluster"
At 1st we stayed out of the fight but then heard flights asking for delouse so turned to engage a group of MIG29S #1 getting 1 kill.
Unfortunately #2 was hit by an R77.
Straight after that group we were straight back into the fight with MIG29A #1 getting 1 kill.

Final engagement was the MIG 21Mbis with #3 getting 1 kill.

A nice mission Griffin. Pity about the techs

After reviewing both the vhs and the acmi versions of the mission I have put up the scores. It is strange that Utopic appeared to be flying two mission s at once!

Novac I can only see one AA kill for you. Can you tell the times of your kills please?

I saw 06:19:24 my aim120 hits mig29s > 06:19:32 mig pilot ejects > 06:19:39 Falcon14(Utopic) aim120 hits.

06:22:12 my aim120 hits mig29a (or may have hit flare?) 06:22.22 Dmans aim120 hits mig29a

Whatever you decide boss. It was a nightmare trying to sort that lot out.

Utopic was indeed flying with us he got 1 A2G. Guys that good he can fly 2 aircraft simultaneously.
