Took off and proceeded through our steerpoints. AWACS routed us to SP4 as that was our target location. We had trouble finding our targets (infantry units really do look like ants), and even with precision steerpoints we had difficulties finding the targets, who were trudging through the snow at this point, however, some of the rockeyes dropped hit home.

We got fuel critical at this point so we made it back to Mandumi at one piece. HQ battallion didn't seem to move at this point so we decided to stick at Mandumi while the RTB call was given.

Our flight was the first in and engaged the 4-ship MiG-31 close to the DMZ.
The bandits turned cold, but we followed them in the general NE heading.
At least we had good shooting cues and fired as the RWR and AWACS warned
about a 4-ship of MiG-23ML from the east. We could shoot them down, but got
into close range and used our IR missiles. After that we flew CAP over the predicted
route of the HQ without any further engagements.

I actually did not positively spot the targets once. It seems all I did was bomb the hell out of brown patches, but did a terrific job at that.

See?? And everybody seems to think that my missions are difficult...

A few tech problems on this one for the whole flight.
1st Griffins IVC was not working on entering the jet he jumped out and back in = IVC OK but jet now airborne.

On take-off roll Karets Jet hit a stationary F16 on the runway. He tried to join as #4 but on entering the pit the jet was at very low alt and crashed. He then tried to join Blades flight as #4 and his jet blew up.

Back to the mission.

Once airborne now a 2 ship we flew to target at angels 15. Ahead of us we could see and hear Falcon flight dealing with the Mig31's. No avoidance was necessary as the Mig's were down before we got close.

#3 found the target 1st followed by #1. I managed to release all 6 mavs in the 1st pass which in the end was a good job because I think we then had another tech. On turning for a 2nd pass on the column we found they had disappeared. We could see the smoking destroyed units but no sign of any active units the whole column just ceased to exist. Vosene in Magic also lost the vehicles.
Magic then vectored us to another column to use our CBU's. After searching the area I was unable to find any vehicles. #3 reported 1 or 2 tanks but was unable to get anymore kills.

We then returned to Mandumi for refuel. I damaged my jet on landing due to the cross-wind. #3 landed making a successful landing.

Shortly afterwards Magic recommended RTB.

My version of the debrief txt shows no shots fired by Fury flight at all!

To be specific, second time I got to the pit, the aircraft was stationary on the ground(in the middle of nowhere) and tilted/rolled 45 degrees on it's right side so that the right wing was sucked to the ground. After few seconds of wondering what's going on, the thing blew up.
