Flight leads in this Sunday's mission, "Safe Haven" are requested to post a debrief of their flights actions, including any lessons learned or that should be learned by others.

Mission Outcome: MF
We took off and turned northeast to assist with bombers if needed. After hearing that Fury flight was airborne, we resumed our flight plan, flying at 400kts to allow Cowboy flight to get 15nm separation.
Our only engagement was with a 4-ship of MiG29-As. We were low, they were high. We were all shot down, scoring only a single kill.

Mission Plan: Fly low and fast, engage only targets directly threatening flight.
Excecution:
Scrambled and monitored bombers from the north till everyone took off.
Engaged 2 ship Mig23's on the flight path, then another 2 ship north of the 1st 23's, monitored long 4ship 23's. Got spiked by 29;s on our 9, handed them over to the other flights. Downed the 23's, and engaged 2ship Mig29's south of Ponghang airbase.
After refueling, engaged 2ship Su27's over the sea, downed them, losing #2.
Good comms and SA for my flight.
Scores to come after someone posts a full ACMI.
I have 2 kills for me, 1 for Helldiver,Blade Crowebar, but i don't have an acmi with the initial engagements.

Fury flight
Fury 1.1 Mango A2A=0 A2G=0 RTB
Fury 1.2 Navman A2A=2 A2G=0 RTB
Took off 3rd and were not involved in the A2A until Falcon requested asistance, turned in hot and 2 got two Mig29s, as we understood later it was too late for Falcon. From there on went as planned , landed at Pohang ,refueled and proceeded to Kadena ,with Cowboy clearing the way in front of us and seeing we were out of trouble. Lessons learned: I got too close to the two flights in front as they were engaging enemy flights and just after we turned back to open up some distance Falcon called for assistance, the extra few seconds it took us to turn back in, cost them dearly, so keep tactical distance next time and dont turn cold when other flights are in the heat of engagement even if they seem to have the upper hand, its not finnished until its finnished.
