Flew at A29 towards westerly SA6 in order to take it out before the F15s or A10s got too close. Lead and trail element had 10 miles separation & Mig 29S’s were reported by AWACs flying CAP inside the SA6 envelope. #1 engaged the SA6 radar with AGM88 whilst rest of flight stayed heads up watching the Migs all with music on. Once HARM was off the rails #1 went AA and locked up the lead bandit and #2 the other bandit. The bandits were engaged at 24 miles with C5 slammers then #1 & #2 immediately went defensive music off dropping to A20 (split S). #3 & #4 engaged, the 2nd bandit still a threat #3 destroyed it but was also hit by its R77 and had to eject. #1’s HARM took out the SA6 radar and #2 was instructed to take out the SA6 to the north of the target – unfortunately his AGM88 missed so #4 who had joined up with the lead element engaged it successfully. Sentry 1 reported Mig29S’s to the North and Falcon Flight were ahead of Cowboy by now and in the fight. Cowboy turned to the north to CAP and engaged MIg 29s, ignoring F5s that were also reported in the area. #4 locked up a Mig and fired but his slammer went mad dog and hit an A10! – Luckily the A10 was only damaged and did manage to RTB. Unfortunately for #4 the Mig 29 got him with an R77. #1 & #2 remained in the northern CAP until Sentry 1 reported that all the A10s were RTB.
Cowboy 1 RTB’d with a mission success.
Those A10s nust be built like tanks – thankfully :-)

From the internal view, fast forward to 09:35.00, you can see I am locked onto MiG29S #3. At the exact moment I launch my AIM-120-C5 the MiG-29 blows up, missile goes Mad Dog and tracks/hits one of the Bulldog A-10s. |

I'm not aware of any blue-on-blue incidents.
AFAIK, 8x A-10's were flying home.
I'll watch that tape when I get back home.
But according to what you say, that's not the first time this happens. I think sometimes when the missile goes maddog it's more likely to track a jamming contact regardless if it's enemy or friendly. I'm not sure if the A-10s were jamming or not, but this has happened in the past.

I can't input the scores since I'm still in the Command list along with CreweBar(I don't see Blue Flight members in the drop down).
Could someone who has the access put myself & Crowebar back into Blue so I can input the scores or even better put the scores in as follows.
