We planned to take-out the Eastern SA-5 and then provide CAP just north of the Eastern SA-5.
As soon as we engaged the eastern SA-5 we had two different MiG-23 groups, one coming from the east and one from the north west. Falcon1 flight decided to push north to give Cowboy flight some space to engage, but Falcon1 ended up engaging the other North Western Migs. Unfortunately, Falcon1 split into two groups which is something that wasn't planned and thus number 3 was shot down.
#2 did a great job clearing some of these contacts while providing mutual support to #1.
As soon as the Mig23s were down, we spotted jamming contacts NW of our position, so we pushed and engaged those SU33s. Two minutes later, Cowboy1 engaged the Su-33 again, and we shot the 4 ship SU's pretty quick.
We kept looking for contacts, as we don't have AWACS support, and we spotted Mig29s. We sent the AI and then called RTB.
It was a very interested mission especially when Homer told us that Kirov class frigate were destroyed before the mission started, so this could have given us the opportunity to engage the Carrier if we knew that.
Enjoyed that one as usual Homer, keep them coming.

We planned to take-out both SA-5s and the SA-2 and then provide CAP just north of the Eastern SA-5.
As we shooting the SA-5s we picked up two groups (four ship each) in azimuth presentation south of our cap. We split Panther east group and BB Griffin west group. After first shots we switch groups for defensive and tactikal reasons. At that point BB was down ...and both groups died. After that we picked three groups in azimouth hot on as north west of are CAP position. The middle was jamming and was the target group. Panther and Griffin killed three of them and Cowboy killed the remaining..Griffin was killed by Su-33....

The plan was for Cowboy to fly 40NM behind Falcon, allowing them to engage SAM threats, get to CAP position over possible SU33 route. Our CAP position being between Falcon CAP and the coast.
On route we seen multiple jamming contacts in vecinity of falcon, but were unable to determine if hostile or Falcon until within visual range, and painted on RWR. Falcon asked us to assist with Mig23 contacts at given bullseye location to the East towards coast. We engaged, while still engaged we were painted by Mig29's on RWR to the west. 1st element turned hot on these new contacts while 2nd element continued to engage 1st contact.
At the same time falcon flight found and engaged target SU33's, but became winchester before final aircraft could be splashed. They passed Cowboy flight the contact reference. 1st Element were still engaged with Mig29's however 2nd Element was now free from engagement with Mig23 and Blade successfully destroyed this last aircraft for a mission success.
with all enemy air activity terminated all 4 aircraft RTB'd safely.
