Took off and climbed to A25-30, picked up 2 SA10 envelopes over flight path. FL engaged but missed the radar, so ~2 was instructed on other one, then SU27s arrived to the right of our flight plan and ~2 & 3 engaged followed by FL. Falcon flight were forced defensive and FL had to drop stores to evade R77. Unfortunately #2 was hit by R77 and ejected and the SA10 got the AI wingman. The SU27s were defeated and #3 took out one SA10 radar but had no indication of the other SA10. Another
4 ship of Su27s were engaged and dragged back towards Cowboy flight for support then re-engaged by Falcon Flight and defeated. One SA10 was still active but #3 couldn't see the threat circle so Cowboy Flight dealt with it. #2 was winchester and FL had 2 slammers left when 2 Mig 29s were picked up beyond stpt 3. FL engaged with the slammers that immediately went home on jam. Falcon 1 advised Cowboy 1 that they were winchester and RTB'd.
It was unfortunate that Crowebar had tech problems and couldn't connect. we lost Blade and the AI wingman early in the TE leaving the SEAD Escort with limited firepower to look after the OCA Strike.

PLAN:
Keep it simple and fast...trying to stay close to the SEAD flight. #1 tgt was the RWY with 6 Durandals, why the #2 and #3 would take care of the radars with HARMs and Mavericks as backup. The AI would be a backup for the RWY.
WHAT HAPPENED:
We were keeping 10nm behind the SEAD, doing our part of not being shot down in the ingres, while a lot of action was taking place around us. Unfortunately, north of SP4 Vosene's PC rebooted while I got a CTD few seconds after that. We tried to reconnect, but all 3 AIs meanwhile managed to get shot down. Novac was alone there, who obviously was unable to get to the TGT area.
Sad that happened, because the mission was nice.

No sooner had we got airborne than we had aircraft launch warnings and SA10 circles popping up. Pinbeck and I approached the first two SA-10s and launched HARMs while Floyd and Panther monitored the Mig 29S's comming from the south. Both the SA 10s and the Migs were sorted out and destroyed. Conituing south we had half an eye on the Su-30's CAPping over Pula and the other half on more bandits to the south. We then needed an extra half an eye for the SA-6 that popped up! I fired my remaining HARM but it missed and Cowboy was advised to go around it. During the following engagement from the south, the SU-30s from Pula took an interest in us. At about that time we lost Vosene and Tiag and we could have used them about then.
That screwed what was up until then a very exciting TE, but with only one pilot left in the Strike flight we could not continue and RTB'd.

we took off slowly to give the escort a chance to get them selves sorted, but we still spent a few mins doing orbits over the base waiting for them to get the air clear to the south.
we tried to progress south but there was a lot of enemy sam and air activity around and despite taking out 3 sams between the 4 of us, there was still a sa10 and a sa6 near the target area. as well as many enemy migs, with the escort having rtb'd already cause they were winchester. we tried our best to keep going but after getting critical on weapons and fuel we had to rtb before getting to the target area.
we lost mango in our first a-a engagement.
sabre had to eject after flying into an sa6 zone after the rtb call was made.
