4 ship Deep Strike - Fury 1
Ballistic FL Novac #3
Objective - Destroy Trogir Bridge
Weapons - 4 x C5 Slammers, 4 x Maverick Gs, 1 Belly Fuel tank (no jamming pod).
Followed flight plan at A25-28 >20miles in trail of SEAD Escort with 10 miles separation between Lead and 2nd element. Remained outside of SAM threat envelopes until SEAD Escort instructed that flight path was clear. Provided support for 1 engagement with Mig 29s on ingress using chainsaw tactic with Novac destroyed a remaining Mig. Once cleared into target the bridge sections were taken out using precision waypoints and the Mavericks, staying clear of the AAA hot spot, and with some help from the AI wingmen. On the return journey Mig 29s were reported ahead so the strike flight did a circle back to allow the SEAD Escort to engage and leave a remaining Mig to mop up. The Mig was tracked running cold and eventually decided that the Patriot dead ahead of it was not a wise SAM system to mess with I think and it turned nicely back hot for a slammer surprise from Ballistic before RTB for a mission success.
Excellent SEAD Escort & good comms + AWACs support from Lumper allowed for a nice and straight forward Deep Strike.
Nice mission Griffin :-)

Lobo 1 - SEAD + Escort 1- tiag 2- Griffin 3- Floyd 4- Mr. AI
THE PLAN: This time the plan was straightforward: take-off, cross the sea, strike, rtb. We would fly standard tactics: 2+2, in 10nm separation. Strike flight would follow us in trail in 20nm.
THE MISSION: After taking-off, we headed to the first MIG Cap (29s Sierra). In this engagement, we shot down down both MIGs but lost Griffin due to a R-77. We then headed to TGT area, where Lumper called 4 MIG-29A coming from the south in our direction. Floyd and I climbed to angels 35, full ab and prepared to engage them. They turned back and I decided to not follow them. We started engaging the SAMs: first SA-6, then SA-4 and the SA-3. We also shot at the AAA without success. In the meantime a 2-ship of 29s Sierra arrived at the target area. We engaged them and pumped, leaving the area for Ballistic and Novac to engage the last one.
Set a CAP during the strike ingress, without any events.
RTB, Floyd and I engaged 2 of the 29s and let the other one to be engaged by Ballistic. I did not want to make the same error as last week: shoot all missiles and be defenseless when RTB. This time wWe all landed with one or more C5s under the wing.
I liked the mission because we managed to coordinate some AA engagements with the strike flight. Good interflight support and comms.
