This is a note to head off any future problems with Te's, please ensure you dont use mission templates other than ones created in 1.07 It is thought that this maybe one of the reasons for some of the problems we have recently been seeing. Could all TE writers, please test their TE's prior to sending them to me, to make the TE test teams life easier.
Cmon you lot lets have some more TE's, subbmissions please.
We have 4 missions in the bank and 1 campaign.
See you in flight :-)

I've got one in the pipeline - I never use templates so that shouldn't be an issue but for my benefit what was the reason/fix to prevent the unassigned pilot situation?

Have one finished just fixing briefing, email it to you shortly. Tested it offline and all seats get filled and all AI flights are in the air.
Don't want to speak to soon but so far the TE's I have created in 1.07 have not had the "non assigned pilots " problem.
When I create a package or flight I lock the take off time padlock and make sure the time spacing is correct i.e. 2 minutes from same base and 1 minute from other bases with no times clashing. I also make sure that the time on the game clock has at least 15 minutes on it before take off time for human flight.
Not trying to tell anyone how to do it as I'm sure everyone knows this but just wondering why this problem is cropping up.
Been away for a while so I'm a bit out of touch with current online problems.
regards,
Pinbeck

Further to my above post. There was one occasion when I had the "non assigned pilots" message and that was when I tried to create an AI flight first. Idea was to designate them for the human package to escort. Went back to creating human flight first and no problems, except it was not exactly what I wanted to do. Still you have to live with some limitations in an otherwise excellent sim.

If somebody is able to instruct me what to do (using teamspeak) to create a TE that isn't working properly I will try to get it fixed in the future.
