Gentlemen,
We desperately need more Cadet Mentors.
Ghostrider and Tiger, in particular, are working extrememly hard to make our new recruits welcome and take them through the early stages up to the assessment flight.
I am asking for some extra volunteers who are willing to spend some time during the week and commit to looking after our new collegues and friends.
Please post below if you are up for it and what days you can spend in TS.
Thanks.

As an existing cadet mentor i suggest to assign specific days to the mentors, e.g., tiger saturday evening 1600 till 2000, ghostrider (me) wednesday 1800 till 2000, a.s.o...! every cadet is free to contact me anytime via email or icq, thats why its shown on the roster and so we can make a date for answering question or just doing some practice!
cheers |

If we get enough CM's that would be ideal Ghostrider and dedicated days of attendance is something I'll try and organise more. But what I really want is for CM's who will come in any time and ACTIVELY look for cadets and get them flying. It is important to check them out and inform me whether or not they are suitable for minor training to bring them to Assessment Flight standard or whether they are too raw for us, etc, etc.
CM is an important post and must be taken seriously if we are to get the pilots we want. Being volunteers makes your contribution that more important. Thanks.

i definetely dedicate at least the 2 hours on sunday before the briefing begins for the official te (at 2000uk time). that menas, i'll be online at 1800 uk time (1900 cheese'n chocolate time) if not earlier, to relieve tiger of his excellent work. i'll try to join ts more often under the week and look around actively for cadets. |

Hi Guys excellent to hear that so many are willing to help, ideal would be if we can have you who volunteer be CM online on different days.Ghostrider can you please try to organize some structure on the accessible of the CM during the week evenings/nights? Also new on the subject will be that we plan to open a new Category here on the website “Assessment Flight Requests” where new pilots can request a slot/date for their asessment Flight.Of course all requests must be seconded by a Cadet Mentor or Senior Officer”confirm that the new pilot are ready. So gentlemen please check in on website in the comming week to the new category.
