Hi,

Looking at the scores made me wonder why Red is almost always far behind. Yep, I know, at the moment we are not the aces of the base. But still wondering I started to examine the overall score of this year. I add all the individual scores of each flight. Below is the result:
Blue: 5101
Black: 4566
Red: 4565
Green: 3720
It can be that I made an small error in the addition.

Who is able to explain the difference between this score and the overall score mentioned on the website (black 7450, blue 6917, green 6470 and red 6018)?

sum of individual scores != flight scores. you have to add rtb bonii as well as flight adjustment (which is very wrong for most missions)

but nice to see blue being on top ;)

Gentlemen,

As stated above, the flight score is not simply the sum of the scores of the participating pilots. The RTB bonus and Flight adjustment also need to be added.

I strongly disagree that the flight adjustment is wrong for most missions. Remember, the CPL now assumes a full team consists of 6 pilots + 1 human AWACS ie 7 in total. The flight adjustment gives you extra if you are short of pilots and also compensates you further if you do not fly with a human AWACS. Give me an exapmple of where you think the flight adjustment is wrong and I will correct it if applicable.

blue 5 pilots + 0 awacs = adjustment 58

Simply summing the scores for each flight doesn't include
adjustments for missing pilots or
where a command pilot flies with a particular flight or
rtb bonus

These are the main reasons for the differences described by Sparrow

Gentlemen,

I know that is far too easy to add the score of each individual.
But I want to understand the difference between the scores.
Above that I do not add Command to each flight. It is merely an indication.

But how about the adjustments of the missing pilots:
I add (yes, I know it is simplistic again) all the participations of each pilot. Here are the scores:

Red: 109 participations of all the pilots
Blue: 101 participations of all the pilots
Green: 81 participations of all the pilots
Black: 71 participations of all the pilots
Again, Command is not included in this addition. I simply add the colors in the CPL table.
But the difference is obvious.

Red has the most participations, but the least points.
Can someone explain (perhaps again) the RTB bonus?

rtb bonus is pretty simple:

100% Human Controlled Aircraft RTB = +20 to the Flight Score

51-99% Human Controlled Aircraft RTB = +10 to the Flight Score

Less than 50% Human Controlled Aircraft RTB = +5 to the Flight Score

0% Human Controlled Aircraft RTB = No adjustment to the Flight Score

adjustment for black for 2nd week of may:

according to the formula in the war room it is avg(human pilots)/(#ofhumanpilots) * (7-#ofhumanpilots)

-> 72+64+61+48 / 4 * (7-#ofhumanpilots) = 245 / 4 * (7-#ofhumanpilots) = 61.25 * (7-#ofhumanpilots) = 61.25 * (7-4) = 61.25 * 3 = 183.75 -> 184

184 != 189

The War Room also states that the pilot flying AWACS receives average score of human pilots + 5 points. QED.
