This week the teams took part in a package strike mission against Huich'on Machine Tool Plant in Korea with mixed resuslts. The key to success was to avoid the numerous CAPS and SAM defences and take a large enough payload to take out the 2 large target buildings.
Blue had a bit of an off night by their very high standards, losing all 5 pilots who took off and although they hit both targets, they did not destroy them so unfortunately record a mission fail. Flight Score 192.
Green did slightly better returning 2 from 5 to tell the tale, however they also failed to put enough ordnance on the target buildings to destroy them so again reported a failed mission. Focus claimed 5 AA kills. Flight Score 194.
Red and Black combined forces this week due to lack of numbers and put out a 5 ship team of experienced pilots who recorded an immaculate mission success, bombing both target buildings with the required pair of BSU 50s each and returning all 5 pilots home for a well coordinated strike. Vosene top scored on the night with 69 points. Due to differing numbers of LOAs the team scores were allocated as RED 391, Black 406.
RED flight and Earthmover lead the monthly Team and individual standings respectively going into this sunday's final mission. Can anyone catch them and him?
