The Egyptian government has decided on a military strike to reclaim control of the Sinai peninsula. Our forces are determined to repel them and restore the status quo.

Your first task is to hit their logistics system by attacking Jabal Libni East Cement Plant. There is a large number of Very High and High value assets at this facility.

Fig. 1 - Recon Photo of the Target.

Fig. 2 - Flight Plan for Package.

Two flights of F-16s have been tasked with this job and they should co-ordinate their attacks as a "Big Wing" to avoid any mishaps.

A flight of F-15Cs will be on station above you to provide air support.

Fig. 3 - Package Briefing Info for Package 3293

There is no information available on ground defences (AAA/SAMs). There is no AWACs on station either.

The weather is clear at the target.

NOTE THAT THE EGYPTIAN FORCES ALSO FLY IN F-16S.

Tasking
Viper3/Banshee5 - Destroy Very High/High value targets at Jabal Libni East

Hog7 - Protect the package from air threats.

Mission Success Criteria

Viper3/Banshee5
Mission Success shall be awarded for an average of three destroyed assets per aircraft

Partial Success shall be awarded for an average of two destroyed assets per aircraft.

Hog3
Mission Success shall be awarded for a maximum of one package losses to enemy aircraft.

Partial Success shall be awarded for a maximum of two package losses to enemy aircraft.

Good hunting.

After a number of restarts because;

1. The F-15I cockpit is not set up like the F-15C, making them unflyable,

2. Fisty crashed into "something" on the runway during take-off and blew up,

3. I forgot to put the target data for the Spice in my data cartridge; a necessity for the Spice,

we managed to get on our way to the target.

The DCA was behind us by a considerable way by the way we reached our ground ordnance launch point.

Having orbited to get to FL210, we went line-abreast for our ground attack. We had noted aircraft on the FCR that were not singing on IFF, nor showing up on Link16. I tasked 3 to watch them as we advanced to the launch points. It's worth noting that we didn't have any AWACs cover either.

While myself and 3 were loaded with Spice 2000s, 2 had GBU31s. The Spices were launched a few miles before the GBUs that had to get closer. The results were impressive, with a collective kill tally of 32 targets initially destroyed. Post recon shows 52 targets destroyed.

I called Dakota and regressed to the FLOT to set up a chainsaw DCA in support of the F-16 DCA.

I bagged a Rafaelle before being destroyed by the same aircraft's Mica IR. Fisty bagged an Egyptian F-16.

2 and 3 headed back to base with 3 having a BMS crash en route.

Lessons learned
1. Respect the MAR, particularly with Rafaelles.
2. Knowledge of the Spice and Delilah ground ordnance is going to be crucial for this campaign.

I was good fun.
