Falcon12: "Gekko” AA=0 AG=0 RTB

MS

Uneventful mission for the Escort. Got onto CAP, only one bandit group was a factor once both AI flights were RTB. Monitored but they were engaged by other flights.

RTB led by Falcon12 with an OHB onto R31L.

Overall a milk run for the Escort but well executed.

Flight Role: AI
Gamble11: "Pegasus" AA=0 AG=6 RTB
Gamble12: "Jules" AA=0 AG=6 RTB
Gamble13: "Fisty" AA=0 AG=0 TECH

MS

Fisty had throttle problems, and exited then tried rejoining but couldn't get into the seat again so called it a night.

Ingress to target was quiet. We first headed north and gave ourselves a good run in to the eastern killbox from the east. We picked up two clear columns and assigned targets. Cloud cover was sparse so we were able to stay above 20k feet. We used GBU54s in laser mode and had 4/4 hits each for 6 kills each. Racetrack pattern for the attack runs was good with separation maintained from each other and Gamble5.

Good overhead break landing, although we nearly conflicted with Gamble5 who were coming in for a straight in approach. Gamble5 was spotted and we maintained distance visually.

To avoid conflict in future, more updates on approach should be transmitted on Tower frequency (eg: "Gamble1 approaching for overhead break", "Gamble11 on the break" etc).
