Russia has invaded Finland. NATO forces must repulse the attack
before it advances into Norway and Sweden.

The Russian carrier with the elite fighter squadrons is still a threat
to our packages. As IVALO isn't operational yet, we are ordered to
attack the carrier (main target) and other ships in that group
(secondary targets).

AWACS support is available.

The picture shows the route to our taget. A different route might be needed
to avoid the two CG protecting the carrier group.

An SA-10 battalion (PPT 56) is stationed close to the city OULU. Intel could send
a picture (180 deg view) of the FlapLid radar.

Package 12358

Cowboy1 is a 4-ship TASMO flight.
Mission success is given for destruction of the carrier,
PS is given for two destroyed secondary targets.

Fury1 is a 4-ship Escort flight.
Mission success is given for no losses to Cowboy1 by A2A,
PS is given for 50% loss max.

Falcon1 is a 4-ship SEAD flight.
Mission success is given for no losses to Cowboy1 and Fury1 by radar SAM,
PS is given for 50% loss max.

Good and rather un-eventful mission.

Took a little early but 'lost' the time advantage on the way and ended up flying on caret.

However, before getting to the stpt 4, we had nails 29 coming from the carrier. We turned away until they were engaged by Fury.

When the picture was clear, we turned back south, and scanned the target area, managed to id and fire at the carrier.

When the weapons timed out, we RTBed and landed.
