Plan
Engage 2x SA-2 using Mavericks using cat and mouse tactics with #1 and #2 while #3 provide overwatch for HARM shot onto Northern SA-5 and A2A. #1 and #2 had mixed HARM and Maverick D load out. Once AD threats destroyed then provide CAP for OCA strike onto airfield.

Execution
Uneventful ingress to just South of first SA-2 WEZ. Picked up 2x MiG-21 to NE. Committed. Bandits executed bracket. #1 sorted on right, #2 sorted on left. Slammer C fired at 22nm, medium aspect, splash. #1 fired at his target at 20nm medium aspect, Slammer C, splash. Due to quicker acceleration of Slammer C versus Slammer B, neither bandit was able to drag or defeat the missile kinematically.

Commenced cat and mouse tactics against SA-2 but almost immediately picked up multiple groups to North. #1 fired at 2x Su-25, Slammer C, 1x splashed, 1x damaged.
#2 and #3 were extend combat combat spread and engaged as #1 turned cold. #2 turned cold at MAR, #3 pressed against MiG-21 group trail of Su-25 group, firing at 25nm but shot was defeated. Direct by #1 to turn cold but trespassed Roland at too low an altitude and was shot down. During debrief it was confirmed Roland threat circle was not added as PPT, which could have prevented shootdown. Maximum alt engagement of Roland is approximately 18,000ft AGL.

During this egress #2 also descended too low and got shot down by an SA-8. Reminder to respect the hard deck.

#1 continued cold and requested support from OCA Strike. While they engaged targets to North, #1 monitored west at several groups hot that eventually turned away.

Decision was made to abort mission and RTB, straight in approach.

In hindsight air picture was far too busy to push so far North and try to destroy SAMs and Runway. We bit off more than we could chew. Next mission needs to be DCA to Slow the enemies air push South.

Falcon 12: "Noodle" AA=3 AG=0 RTB

Took off and held ourselves between ten and twenty miles behind Gamble, orbiting when they became engaged with hostile aircraft. We did this a couple of time but as Gamble flight got smaller, we covered Gamble 11 as he backed out. No 2 successfully engaged a couple of SU-24s. Then we started to leave as I called a mission abort due to the large numbers of MiG 21s heading towards us. We did not have the weapons to fight them off.

No 2, being a greedy soul, shot down another Su-24 and we returned to base.
