This week the teams were tasked with a scramble mission to get 2 x 3ship flights of F16s into the air quickly to defend two friendly airbases from hostile aircraft inbound. Success in this mission required correct prioritisation of the inbound threats, disciplined target sorting and good communication between the flights. All 4 flights did well on the night and recorded a mission success to finish the month on a high note.

Blue recorded a success but at the highest cost on the night returning 2 pilots from the 5 who departed. One of the survivors, Cobra, recorded a creditable mission score of 73. Flight score 351.

Black attempted the mission with 4 and returned 2 pilots home with a good collection of AA kills to their names. Flight score 362.

Green matched the score of Black but with 6 pilots, losing only 2 men along the way. Good individual contributions from Bigdawg on 75 and Homer who once again top scored on the night with 78 which included another 5 AA kills. Flight score 362.

Red however claim the honours this week returning 4 pilots home from the 5 who departed, with a consistent level of scoring throughout the team. Very well flown indeed. Flight score 389.

Monthly and Quarterly awards are described in seperate posts.

Full results in detail are available from the CPL section of the War Room.
