This week the teams undertook a lively sortie to destroy a warehouse at Kimchaek Naval Base and the runway at nearby Iwon Airbase. With an active carrier group patrolling just off the coast with their deadly surface-air-missile threat, the key to success with this mission was choosing a suitable route and keeping the enemy air threats at bay. Attendance this week was at a new CPL record high, with the teams recording a mixed set of results against a challenging mission.

Black (bolstered by the presence of Command) had a total nightmare losing all 6 pilots to a combination of ship based Sams and enemy interceptors. A technical success for the SEAD under the terms of the briefing was small consolation. Flight Score 202.

Green fared slightly better returning 1 pilot from 5 who departed, claiming a success in both SEAD Escort and Strike but at significant cost. Flight Score 301.

Red almost claimed the honours this week with good effort, claiming success in both flights and returning 2 pilots from the 6 who took off. Flight Score 326.

Blue secured top position this week matching the performance of Red with the addition of another superb individual contribution from Stingray in the SEAD Escort returning 11 AG kills for a top score on the night of 77 while recording another RTB in the process. Superb flying indeed. Flight Score 336.

Blue takes over the lead at the half way point in the June standings and regains their position at the top of the Quarter/YTD league.

Stingray storms to the top of both the monthly and quarterly standings with 2 top class performances in a row.

Results in detail are available in the CPL section of the War Room.
