Well done and Congratulations to 1.5 Pie who were Reaps, Weezer, Goose and Peebs (plus Badger as week 1 reserve) who successfully completed the final deep strike mission and therefore take the round and the series by a convincing margin. Very well flown indeed, the team lost far fewer aircraft than the other teams and put in very consistent performances of a high standard thoughout the 5 weeks to be once again crowned our champions. Very well done indeed.

Iron Eagles were unfortunately wiped out before they could even get to the target so unfortunately failed to score, however they had done enough in the earlier rounds to secure 2nd place overall. Well done guys, better luck next time.

Iron Hand came in with a late rally, scoring a partial success in the final deep strike mission and returning 2 pilots home to tell the tale, even though the target area was exceedingly hot.

Euroteam retired after 3 rounds due to connectivity issues.

Phase 5 scores

1.5 PIE 35 1 F16 lost
Iron Hand 20 2 F16s lost
Iron Eagles 0 4 F16s lost

Overall final scores including campaign end bonus for intact F16s:-

1.5 PIE 904 6 F16 losses
Iron Eagles 551 16 F16 losses
Iron Hand 492 12 F16 losses
Euroteam 316 5 F16 losses (retired after phase 3)

Thank you all for taking part, I hope you all enjoyed flying using this format.

Regards

PJC

My introduction to online Campaign flying was by way of PJC's mini Campaign, flying with Sabre, Turnburn, PJ and a cou-ple of others, it was fantastic, it looks like PJC's efforts are once again entertaining the squadron, well done M8, the Iron Fist series is a brilliant Idea!

Regards to all!

I would also like to congratulate and thank PJC for the time and effort put into this mini campaign. I was a great success, even though we did not win.

So well done PJC and also well done 1.5 Pie team.
Looking forward to meeting you next time
