As you know we have been reviewing various combinations of Falcon instalations over the last few months, the priority for Command being the stability of the multiplayer code.

Command has therefore decided that the squadron will move to SP3 + BMS 1.03 effective from the mission to be flown on Sunday 6th June. This will give all pilots the time to make the necessary upgrade, the BMS 1.03 installer will be made available for download on the website shortly for those of you who do not already have it. This weeks mission (Sunday 30th May) will therefore be the last one flown using our current configuration. The existing 185th filter will be retained for use with the new configuration.

It is further intended that the squadron will move to SP3 + BMS 2.0 at the end of June provided that there are no major problems reported with this release. The option to move to SP4 + BMS 2.0 at this time will also be considered, dependant upon the the performance of SP4 after the release of the imminent hotfix. Command does not consider it appropriate to change to SP4 at this time.

We trust that this fully clarifies the position and clearly defines the path we will take in the months ahead.
